Some people have asked the question if there is a God, why is there so much suffering ?
So if God is not responsible for the problems in this world, who is?
But we know that it was not so from the beginning.
God made a beautiful world which he gave to Adam to tend, when Adam sinned against God by disobeying God, he became a slave to satan and though God was angry at Adam, he began to seek for a means of redeeming man, when Jesus came, he became sin for our sake, took upon himself our shame and guilt and gave us a new life, from then on our case with God was settled.
God is not angry at you, come to him through Jesus and you ll be saved. Now God has restored order to the world through Jesus.
So if things are going out of order, remember that God placed you in that place were you are for a purpose. Whatever you do, do all to the glory of Jesus. Let the world be better because you came, in your own little way through little acts of kindness, touch peoples lives with the love of Jesus.
You may say what of the government? The government has their role to play but the people constitutes the government, so if you can affect some one’s life for good and he becomes a governor, you have affected your world.
When you do good, don’t blow a trumpet to let everyone know you did something good, there are people doing great things that people don’t know, but God knows them and he who sees in secret will reward you in the open.
So if you see others suffering, for the fact that God has shown you their struggles, it means there’s something you can do about it, you may be able to lift them out of their struggles physically or you can pray for them. But do what you can, because God is watching to see what you ll do.
Some people may say I love Jesus, and then they say this is what I ll do when I see Jesus, I ll treat him nicely, But Jesus is coming to them through simple people who they have ignored, rejected. Charity is a kingdom requirement, treat people with love whether you think they re your class or not, honor them because they are the people of God.
Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
As we prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus, let’s take every opportunity we have to do good to others knowing that he ll reward us.
