Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind
What’s the opposite of an inferiority complex? A Superiority complex.
A Superiority complex makes you believe that you are better than everyone else. No matter what your qualifications are, there’s something that someone can teach you.
Inferiority is the thinking that others are better than you.
What does God want? God wants you to have the mindset of Christ, God does not want you thinking more highly of yourself than you ought to think; neither does he want you to feel inferior. He wants us to think soberly. We are God’s masterpiece created in Christ Jesus for his glory.
Have the mind of Christ, don’t have your own mind. Your mind has to be renewed by the word of God to be reliable. When you have the mind of Christ, You won’t rely on yourself because your sufficiency is of God.
So you won’t look to others for confidence. Your confidence should come from God.
So don’t ever think down on yourself and don’t let others cause you to feel inferior.
Your unique gifts and talents are pointers to the extraordinary nature of Christ in you!
