Ever met a person that never changed their clothes? They just had one color of clothes and kept wearing it?
Well thank God, you do not have to be that boring. You can change your clothes and even give some out. You can get new ones.
Zechariah 3:3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. 3:4 And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
The prophet needed a change of clothing. Have you ever felt like you need to change your clothes, even if they were not dirty. But it was not Joshua’s physical clothes that needed to be changed, it was his spiritual clothes.
His anointing had gone stale.
He needed a change.
He needed a fresh anointing.
You can minister and minister to every one, you need to take time to let the Lord minister to you, to replenish you as well. You need to be ministered to just as much as anyone else you are ministering to.
This reminds me of the water purifier or filter. When you buy it, its white. But in the process of filtering; ministering protecting you from germs, it turns green and slimy and needs to be changed. This is how we need to let God cleanse us of all the contamination of worldliness we encounter in the process of ministry.
So the angel said to those that stood before him ‘Take away the filthy garments from him’
How wonderful when God cleanses us, when we do not have to carry that burden of guilt anymore.
Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. Hallelujah!
Is there any sin you have committed in the past that the enemy is using to harass you? I want you to know that you are free, there is a change of garments for you!
Ask the angel of God to take off that filthy garment and give you a new fresh garment.
A new anointing! A new dimension of grace!
