Grace is that ‘special thing’ that comes on you from God that is developed through fellowship with the holy spirit of God.
You can’t really describe grace, but you can see the out workings of grace in a persons life.
Trying to describe grace is just like trying to define light.
What is light. Light is light. Light is that which gives expression and beauty to things.
Tapping into grace
Since grace is so powerful and wonderful and specifically the grace of God, we all want to tap into it and in a way that glorifies God, the giver of all good things.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God:
There are people we just love because they have certain qualities that we admire. Maybe they are diligent, jovial, successful, influential and we really like them. As a result, we try to make a connection with them whether we know them personally or not. There’s grace for different kinds of things.
However, Tapping into a persons grace is not trying to steal their identity!
No matter how alike you try to be with someone, you re always going to be you. Tapping into grace is not misrepresenting others so we can get noticed.
Tapping into grace is acknowledging the gifts, the manifestations of grace in others and as a result, encouraging the workings of such grace in your life.
Remember a man can receive nothing except it be given to him of God
John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
So when we honor others, we are really honoring God.
The beauty of Grace
When God beautifies a person, you can’t help but notice them.
When God decides to express himself in you, you cannot but be a wonder. People may not be able to explain what it is that is so special about you, but you know that there is a special grace in your life, you know God has set you on high.
Grace can make a nobody into a somebody.
It was grace that lifted Joseph out of prison and made him into a prime minister in the land of Egypt.
Genesis 41:15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it. Genesis 41:16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. Genesis 41:39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Genesis 41:41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. Genesis 41:42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; Genesis 41:44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.
Notice how humble Joseph was to recognize it was not him but God who would give Pharaoh the interpretation of his dream. What an honourable man.
It was grace that anointed a forgotten unknown boy by the name of David and made him one of the greatest kings Israel would ever know. It was grace.
Grace brought Daniel into tender love in a strange land with important people. Grace
Daniel 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into .. tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
The bible says of Jesus that he grew in grace and of his grace we have all received.
Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah!
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
Making demands on grace
Learn to make demands on the grace of God. What do you need the grace of God to do for you?
Grace in time of need
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Where there is grace, you stop struggling because you know that its not by power nor by might but by Gods spirit. Zechariah 4:6
The bible says the children of Israel wore shoes that never got bad for several years, their clothes were in good condition, they ate the food of angels.
God protected them from wild beasts. Despite being in the wilderness they had enough water for themselves and their animals. Read Psalm 78
The grace of God worked mightily in their lives.
Things grace can do for you.
1. Grace will supply your every needs.
God can cause grace to abound to you.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Don’t say I tried and it didn’t work, try again till you become convinced that it works.
God can cause miracle money to come to you, he can provide for you abundantly supernaturally.
And we should recognize all good things as coming from God and give him glory.
2. Grace to save
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith
We are saved by grace through faith in God.
We may boast about many things but grace is not something you can boast about in your own strength because it is a gift of God.
The grace of Jesus is able to save you .
Trust in the power of that grace to work things in your good.
Learn to rely on God not your own understanding because our understanding is limited.
Instead of debating things in your mind. Commit it to God. Trust that if God’s grace is at work in your life, then that grace is able to save you and rearrange things for your good.
Trust in God, all powers belong to God.
3. Grace for divine connections
We have a connection with Almighty God. Its a connection that works, because we are connected to the highest, most supreme being, we can easily be connected to people of influence. What it would take others years to achieve, God can do for you in a moment. God can cause you to become famous and popular. The reason for this fame or popularity is very clear. Its not for personal aggrandizement but as a platform for the spreading of the gospel.
Let’s pray this prayer:
Lord, make me a worthy ambassador of your grace.
O Lord make me a worthy receiver of your love.
God may you never regret committing so much power and influence in my life, rather may you show your love and approval of me and confirm my words with signs and wonders.
May miracles be always normal to me.
May your glory rest mightily on me till I am so full of it that I wonder ‘ why does God love me so’
Then I can say ‘ I have being gracified by Almighty God’
I am the testimony of God’s grace.
Hallelujah!!
Grace can be tested and trusted.
Feel free to make demands on grace because it works. You can test that grace in your life.
You can say by the grace of God upon my life ‘ I claim promotion, increase, provision, protection, open doors ‘
Praise God.
Grace for Fellowship
When you make such demands on grace and you see the manifestations of grace in your life, know that you are being invited by God into an intimate and everlasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
You can go from using grace to becoming an embodiment of grace. You can walk in constant harmony with God. You can know God for yourself. You can talk to God and you can hear him talk to you.
That is going from experiencing the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to knowing the love of God and as a result of that love experiencing the sweet fellowship of the holyspirit. So don’t just stop at using grace. You can know the Lord for yourself. You can have daily, constant fellowship with the holy spirit.
This is what God wants for you.
2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
