Luke 9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Acts 5:16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one
Glory to God.
Each time I study the scriptures, something that I notice so much is the compassion of God.
He sent us to preach the gospel but he also empowered us to heal the sick.
Being a pastor or a Shepherd in God’s house is not so much about titles or leadership positions as its about caring for others. Its about compassion. You strengthen the weak, you heal the sick.
You cast out devils from those that are oppressed.
Personally I think every child of God should be a demon caster. Because we have been empowered by God to cast out demons. There are deliverance miniseries and they are very powerful. But you need to stay delivered. That’s going to require some efforts from you.
Philippians 2:12
Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
There is only so much a deliverance minister can do, you need to study the scriptures and realize who you are.
When you do, you would know that as a child of God, you don’t need any deliverance from the devil because you have already being delivered. What you need is the consciousness, the knowledge of who you really are.
Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
So you are not trying to be delivered, you have already been delivered, so you don’t keep going for deliverance everyday wondering why the demons did not go.
Not every thought is your mind.
Sometimes someone says ‘my mind told me to do it’
What are they saying? That’s not your mind, probably a demon speaking to you.
That’s why you must check every thought that comes to you with the Word.
Be sure its from God. Everyday thoughts come to us but we must choose what we allow to dominate our consciousness.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Think the right thoughts.
Why is nt the devil going?
Sometimes you have casted out a devil and it seems it won’t go.
You keep thinking the same thoughts or feeling the same way.
Maybe you are giving that devil too much attention.
If you have done what you should do, you have fasted and prayed, sowed seeds etc
Then maybe the devil has gone and you don’t know. Maybe what you are experiencing are lying vanities.
Jonah 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
Give God thanks, maintain the victory and stop focusing so much on the problems.
Sometimes, it could be that you are not forceful or persistent enough.
I once heard a Pastor explain how that demons are like dogs, when you say to the dog to go gently, it may pretend not to hear and that’s what demons do, they pretend they did not hear you.
But when you speak with boldness and audacity, they will flee. Sometimes you have being too gentle, you have to be forceful.
People may think why is she talking to herself, but you know what you re dealing with.
Confess the word, cast out demons, sing praises to God!
You are peculiar!
Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
Also there are things that are physical, so deal with them physically. If you need to go to the hospital, go.
God has given the doctors wisdom for you. Always remember that God is the great physician and your healer.
And there are limitations to medicine as wonderful as medicine is but there are no limitations with Almighty God.
He can do all things! Glory to his holy name.
There are different kinds of spirits. There are problems that have lingered for long, its caused by demons.
When people keep fighting themselves for no good reason. There’s a spirit of strife behind it.
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
Proverbs 15:18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Proverbs 20:3 It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
Or you have people who are always brewing trouble. These are contentious spirits and such people have yielded themselves to be used by them
God wants us free from demonic interferences, manipulations and influences.
And we have being given the power but we must use it.
Proverbs 21:19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
And if you are in the deliverance ministry, don’t get proud. Its not your name the demons are responding to, but to the power in the name of Jesus
The best spirit to be full of all the time is the Holy spirit.
The very spirit of God.
And you can be filled as you meditate on the word, speak in tongues and sing praises to God.
