Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
2:27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
When GOD restores, shame flees because he gives you double of whatever you had before. No wonder the psalmist said:
Psalms 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 23:3 He restoreth my soul
The part I want you to notice is that he restores your soul. Do you feel worn out and weary by the challenges of life? God wants to restore and replenish your soul so you can feel fresh and brand new inside.
Have men turned your glory to shame by the malicious and lies filled stories they have cooked up just to tarnish your image? Do you feel like the psalmist when he wrote about men that want to turn your glory to shame?
Psalms 4:2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
Don’t worry, the restoration power of GOD will put you on a higher pedestal than that which they taught you had lost.
Begin to sing a new song because a new phase of life is opening for you, those doors that had being so tightly shut that no man could open them are about to be flung open by the spirit of God.
This time you will not be licking the door handles or be eating crumbs from your glory. This time, You are entering right in with so much glory, honour splendor and power by the restoration power of God
. You are not roaming about trying to discover God’s will for you. You are in the centre of God’s will for your life by the restoration power of God. Wow!
There is a fresh anointing and favor on your life, you needed a reinforcement and God has strengthened you. Stop talking about what the devil did and start talking about what Jesus has done. Jesus said that the thief came to destroy but I am come that they might have life more abundantly John 10:10. In other words whatever the devil did to mess up your glory; Jesus has come to restore and replenish you and nullify all the works of the enemy. He has come to give you 10 folds restoration. Praise God.
Probably there had being things you had being fasting and praying about, God is set to give you all these things in one big step.
Perhaps people tell you that it seems that your life is on slow motion, Tell them that God is perfect in his timing. If God is making you wait, like I heard a preacher say on a local radio station, its because what he has for you is too big to be hurried. If you are preparing a delicacy, it will take time and more efforts than a mere few minutes meal.
God wants you to know that he is a good God that never fails and through all your trials and challenges he loves you and he has a good plan for you.
