Thank God not necessarily for all things but in all things. Thanksgiving is so important because it is the right kind of environment for the angels of God to work on our behalf. But that’s exactly the opposite of what the devil wants. He wants you sad, grumpy and bitter that’s why he constantly reminds you of things that could make you sad and unhappy. No, thank God in
everything because as you do so you are acknowledging him to be greater than any challenge in life and that he is able to put you over. Every time a negative thought appears in your mind, lift it up to God and thank him for putting you over, As you thank him, you are bringing God into the matter. It’s no longer just between you and that person now but between you , God and that person. And you know that once God gets involved in anything, it must change for good.
Thanksgiving takes you out of the realm of failure and defeat and into the realm of victory and progress.
It activates the angels of God working on your behalf and weakens the demons working against you.
While thanking God, you stir up the joy of the holyghost in you.
And what does joy do for you? First of all the joy of the Lord is our strength. If you are feeling weak in your faith then you need to stir up that joy by singing praise songs to God, worshipping him and thanking him. He made the whole world, he made the Universe that we may marvel at him at his wisdom, his glory, power and majesty. Suddenly those problems seem so small as you realise that if he made the whole universe. Then he can make you. He can alter things to favor you. You can trust him to keep his word and honor his name in your life.
