When you know the value of a thing, then you will know how to treat it. When you go to the market stores, you will find various items ,but with different prices and values. You could see articles having the same qualities yet one is more expensive than the other.
You wonder whats the difference? But the makers of that product, have over the years accumulated a lot of trust and confidence from their customers. This trust and confidence is what gives the product a higher value and acceptance than other products similar to it.
As such , you tend to appreciate such a product better because you value it. It is only a foolish man , a mad man or a blind man who will see gold and will treat it like a stone. To him it’s like any other stone out there. But wait until he finds out that beneath that outer layer is gold of great value, he will search diligently for it ,if per adventure he will find it.
You are of more value to God than any diamond, gold or precious stone. You don’t need to try to be like anyone to be happy, successful or fulfilled. Be yourself, because you are valuable. You may be wearing cheap clothes but that does not make you cheap. As soon as you understand who you are, then you will realise the clothes’ value just went up because you wore it.
We all know that if the President of a country should put on a particular brand or product, that products value automatically goes up. It may have been a largely unknown product before, suddenly its value rises.
You may have thought little of yourself, now think again, you are valuable. You are special. Someone may not like the way you do your things but that’s their problem. You are valuable to God. As you discover your value, then you learn to treat others with value because you discover that they are valuable in Gods sight.
