Its being several years since Jesus came and brought that life transforming word to us but people today are still as hungry as they were in Jesus day.
They have tried everything else and yet their hunger was not satisfied. Tired and weary they fall at Jesus feet for a taste of the all in one , all tansforming life giving bread.
Jesus audience ranged from little children to common people to Kings and Presidents. Infact a man by the name of Zaccheaus was so hungry to catch a glimpse of Jesus, he had to climb a tree because he was so short.
What did Jesus have? He had the word of life. He had the panacea for all of mans problems.
Today ppl are still very hungry for the word. People are still searching for a taste of that all satisfying bread that can only be found in Jesus. Lets give it to them.
Perhaps you are burdened by a load of problems yourself and you are hearing God tell you to share his word. But you are waiting for God to change your situation, you are waiting for things to get better. But God wants to use you just as you areppp. Now is the time. Do it now. As long as there is time, as long as you are alive, as long as you have that living bread and water and there are people hungry to hear it, go ahead and share it.
God will honor you and he will reward you for it.
May God give us the strength to administer his word as stewards of his abundant grace to a hungry world. That though we may be weak and weary at times but yet when we see the hunger of others we are strengthened and motivated to feed them with the bread of Christ.
