Today we will be discussing about heroes. First of all,who is a hero? A hero is a person whose contributions makes life better and more meaningful for others. The first thing that comes to some people’s minds when we talk about a hero is Super man also known as Clark. While there are some important things to learn from that story, do we really know our true heroes? The bible says to follow them who through faith and patience possess the promises. Do you know that God expects you to influence your world and to make an impact to the glory of his name? He said saviors will arise from mount Zion.
Lets talk about the bible heroes, Who were they and what were their special qualities.
Lets take a look at 3 popular bible heroes who influenced and affected their generation tremendously.
Abraham. Noah . Moses
Abraham
The most remarkable quality of Abraham is that he was described as the Father of faith and friend of God.
He demonstrated his faith several times like when God asked him to move from Haran, his Fathers place to a land he would show him. He went by faith not knowing were he was going. That was an act of faith.
He believed in God against hope that he would have a son and he did. He proved his love for God time and time again. And God not only blessed him but made him a blessing. He was a friend of God. God confided in him like a friend. Wow what a man!
Moses
Moses was a stammerer yet through him God delivered the Israelites out of Egypt. His unique quality is meekness. Numbers 12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
Despite all the miracles he was such a humble man. Even when he was opposed and others tried to take his position he was calm and let God fight for him. He refused to be called the son of pharaoh’s daughter. He left the wealth of the kingdom because he knew he was the deliverer for Israel.
Noah
Noah was a man who God used to preserve mankind as well as other living creatures. God was angry with the world and wanted to destroy it. Genesis 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. He told Noah to build an ark which he did. So Noah and his family as well as the creatures that followed him into the ark were preserved. Noah’s special quality is that he found favor with God. Let this be your prayer point: Ask the Lord to cause you to find grace and mercy in his sight, so that just like Noah you may be singled out for his favor and for grace.

Obadiah 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’s.
Abraham’s blessings
Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. 12:4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Abrahams faith
Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Abraham, the friend of God
Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Moses meekness
Hebrews 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this article together.
I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and commenting.
